The Forestry Museum located with the recreational forest of Telok Bahang , is a specialized museum exhibiting various items of forestry interest. It was opened to the public on 5 th may, 1983. The construction was started in 1976, the museum was completed early 1983, expenses totaling $1 million was incurred towards realizing this museum. Items exhibited are acquired from all over Peninsula Malaysia . The building, with a floor space of 700 square meters, is sectionalized into 6 exhibition compartments. The diorama of the Forestry in the center forms the primary focus, while the remaining compartments deal with specific forestry subjects.
