| Whenever you mention about char kway teow in Penang, Sister's Char Kway Teow of Macalister Road comes to mind. As you can guest from the name, the stall is run by a pair of siblings, Lam sisters which started around 40 years ago. You can order a normal plate char kway teow or if ordered with extra ingredients, at an extra cost. The succulent prawn and bean sprout is fried on the sizzling wok. Then, ingredient such as dark soy sauce is then added to the wok. Koay teow or flat rice noodle is then added and fried to golden brown. Egg is then added and fried. Finally, garnishing is added before serving and a plate of nice char kway teow is ready.
