The Ghost Festival is celebrated by Chinese on the 7th month of the Chinese lunar month. In Chinese tradition , the entire seventh month in general is regarded as the Ghost Month, in which ghosts and spirits, including those of the deceased ancestors, come out from the lower realm.

For the Muslim, the fasting month is occurred a month before the Hari Raya Aodil Fitri. During the fasting, ramadhan bazaar is setup on every day during the fasting month.
